Monty & Theresa Fowler met in 1988 and married in 1992. They live in Elgin, IL (a suburb of Chicago) and are members of Mission Church in Bloomingdale, IL. Their four adult children and two grandchildren all live in the Chicagoland area and they love getting the whole family together for Sunday dinners and every holiday.
Theresa is a fifth-grade teacher at Olive-Mary Stitt Elementary School in Arlington Heights. She is a graduate of Roosevelt University and Olivet-Nazarene University and holds dual Masters Degrees in Education and Curriculum & Instruction. She has led several ministries since 2000 including Children’s Ministry, Vacation Bible School, and Youth Ministry. She has led women’s bible study groups for more than a decade and is a trained Biblical Counselor.
Monty is a technologist and senior sales leader working at his 7th technology startup in San Francisco. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and holds an MBA in Strategy & Marketing. Monty has been a volunteer missionary since 2000 working with Amazon Outreach to deliver the Gospel and much-needed medical & dental care to the people along the Amazon River in Brazil. He has also served in VBS, Youth Ministry, AV Production, and been involved in both Men’s and Couple’s small groups.
